Mario Kart 8 is only a month away from release. Coming in May, Mario Kart 8 will be the first console Mario Kart game in six years. On the Wii U, Mario Kart 8 is easily the best looking in the franchise, but it also comes packed with new features.
Nintendo has released a new trailer highlighting many of these features. The trailer showcases many of the new tracks, characters, weapons and kart customization options that will be available in-game. There’s also plenty of anti-gravity sections to marvel at. Fans of the classic Rainbow Road will be happy to learn that there will be not one, but two different Rainbow Roads to race on.
Mario Kart 8 is the eighth main entry into the Mario Kart franchise and the first on a home console since Mario Kart Wii. The game will build upon the same successful formula found in previous games with brand new tracks, weapons and racers.
