With more and more big games arriving as cross-platform experiences, it is often up to indies to provide exclusive experiences. Often beautiful, endearing, and unique, independent developers are very much in demand. Microsoft is beefing up their ranks with an unusual choice of Soda Drinker Pro.
Soda Drinker Pro is, as the name implies, a game about drinking non-branded soda. Players get a first person perspective with cup in hand and drink while they explore a multitude of stages. The weird simulator/exploration hybrid is already available on PC but the Xbox One is the first – and so far only – console version.
The game is expected to land on Microsoft’s digital storefront in September. It improves upon the PC version with exclusive levels, 1080p resolution, and Kinect support.
