April’s Xbox One Update Is Available Now

Microsoft continues to improve the performance of the Xbox One.  Last night saw the console manufacturer roll out the April update, which adds several requested features.

Major Nelson announced the availability of the update along with a list of what’s been improved and added.  One of the most requested features that was added in this update is that you will now be notified when your favorites and friends sign into Xbox Live.

There is now a game save progress bar to show you the status of your saves.  Improved GameDVR quality, Kinect functionality and controller and headseat adaptor firmware updates are among the other changes.  You can see the full list of changes here.

Microsoft’s Xbox One launched November 2013 to a good reception.  However, the system was missing many features, and some that were present did not function properly.  Microsoft has done an admirable job at updating the console, and improving the functionality of the system.
