The Call of Duty franchise will once again bring in some serious star power to its latest title. Activision and Sledgehammer Games have confirmed that Kevin Spacey will star in Call of Duty 2014. His role, however, remains a mystery.
A video was posted to Call of Duty’s official Instagram. It showcases a part of the character’s face, and part of a speech that Spacey’s character will no doubt deliver sometime during the campaign.
Activision and Sledgehammer Games revealed today that Call of Duty 2014 will be officially announced on May 4. This will be Sledgehammer Games first solo Call of Duty game. The team co-developed 2011s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with Infinity Ward. Sledgehammer Games joins Infinity Ward and Treyarch as the third official Call of Duty developer.
This isn’t the first time Call of Duty has added some star power to its games. Kiefer Sutherland, Gary Oldman, Stephen Lang, Sam Worthington, Snoop Dogg and Kevin McKidd among others.
