As far as puzzle games featuring boars go, this is certainly one of them. While this is perhaps not one of May’s biggest releases, it might be one of its more unique ones. You play as one of two boars, either Frederick the boar or Hildi the sow, and puzzle your way through over a hundred different areas. The emphasis in the game is meant to be on puzzle solving and exploration, and there is no set path to progress down and over a third of all areas in the game are hidden. Also, you live in some sort of weird boar society that is hiding some sort of dark secret, if you aren’t quite sold on the idea of an open exploratory puzzle game but really love boar based intrigue.
Check out the newly released trailer below and prepare to dig yourself into some puzzles come May 6 on Steam. The game is priced at $14.99 and includes both Part 1: The First Dig (which had a previous non-Steam PC release) and Part 2: Into Hard Earth.
