Cartoon Network and Little Orbit have announced a brand new Adventure Time game titled Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom. Developed by WayForward, who were also responsible for the previous two entries in the series, this latest game “will introduce a classic top-down action adventure experience and puzzle solving element to the franchise, reminiscent of early high fantasy console games.” Players will take control of heroes Finn and Jake as they explore an uncharted region in The Land of Ooo full of “never-before-seen characters and creatures”.
Fans will undoubtedly be excited by this new approach, and hopefully WayForward can deliver a better experience than the sadly underwhelming Adventure Time: Explore The Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! released last year. Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is slated for a November 2014 release, and will launch on 3DS, PS3, Xbox 360, as well as Steam. Algebraic!
