Sorry Xbox 360 players of Titanfall, you won’t be getting the DLC the same day as Xbox One and PC players. Respawn Entertainment and Bluepoint Games have confirmed that all DLC and updates will launch on Xbox 360 after their release on Xbox One and PC.
Bluepoint Games is responsible for the excellent Xbox 360 ports and will be working on bringing the updates and DLC to Xbox 360. The delay is caused by Bluepoint adapting all the content to work well on the Xbox 360.
“Updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One. This timing difference is due to the same reasons that more time was needed to finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360.” Bluepoint Games explains on the Titanfall website. “Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version. We’re working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn’s updates.”
So what does this mean for the Expedition Map Pack? Xbox One and PC owners will be getting the content in May still, however, Xbox 360 players will have to wait until June to get their hands on the DLC.
