Back in April, Namco Bandai unveiled their upcoming free-to-play fighting game, Rise of Incarnates, and briefly showed off some gameplay footage. As a 2-on-2 brawler, with veterans from the Tekken and Soulcalibur series working on the title, players were rather intrigued by the seemingly out-of-nowhere announcement. Since that first blip of news, though, the publisher has been quiet about Incarnates, apparently letting the news soak in for a few weeks before offering up any further tidbits of information. Today, however, that changed.
Earlier today, Namco announced that the Rise of Incarnates Alpha will kick off tomorrow, May 30. The Alpha will be brief, only running from May 30 through June 1, but if we know anything about the Alpha-Beta process, it’s that there will be plenty more opportunities for folks to get in on the game prior to its official launch. Nevertheless, Namco are taking signs up now, so head here to put your name in the proverbial hat.
In addition to this news, Namco has also put out an extended rendition of the trailer that dropped last month. So be sure to check it out below.
