If you’ve been looking forward to driving the Batmobile around in Rock Steady’s upcoming Batman game, Batman Arkham Knight, we’re afraid you’re going to have to wait a bit longer. The game, which was due out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year has been delayed until 2015.
According to Dax Ginn, Rock Steady Studios Brand Marketing Producer, “Awesome takes time, and totally awesome takes a lot of time. We have decided to extend the development time of Batman Arkham Knight”
Arkham Knight is the conclusion to the Batman Arkham series that started on the last-gen systems, and is the biggest title in scope of the series thus far, boasted as 5 times larger than Arkham City was, which makes sense, as you’ll need a lot of space to be able to drive around for the first time in the series. Given the release dates of the previous titles, and the team pushing this into 2015 to extend development time, I’d speculate another October release date, and of course, when we know more, we’ll let you know right here.
