E3 2014: New Suda51 Title Unveiled; Is Typical Suda Game — Insane, Violent

Alright, real talk: Suda51 games are out and out, bat-shit crazy. With gems like Killer is Dead, Shadows of the Damned, Lollipop Chainsaw and, our personal favorite, Killer 7, Suda and his studio at Grasshopper Manufacture are clearly known for producing off-the-wall action titles that spew originality and ruthless aggression. Today’s unveiling at Sony’s conference confirmed that they’re wanting to keep that pattern going, as the newly announced brawler “Let It Die” looks equal parts brutal and downright violent. We weren’t shown anything other than some fancy CG combat scenes and a few short gameplay clips, but you can probably put together an image in your head when I say that all of the following were present in the trailer: wailing metal guitars, sadistic melee weapons and lots of blood.

A release date was not provided for Let It Die, but a safe assumption would put the game sometime in 2015. Be on the lookout for more information on Suda’s upcoming game as we know more about it. Be sure to check out the trailer below.
