The head of Good-Feel Games showed off a lot of yarn, and love for Yoshi’s Wooly World at E3 today. The folks behind the game formerly known as Yoshi’s Yarn showed off a ton of gameplay, and talked about adding depth to the game world in ways it couldn’t be done in Kirby’s Epic Yarn. The easiest way to convey this was to add multiple layers of yarn to create a more realistic look. The mechanics bring back the background-usage from Epic Yarn, but with the Yoshi’s Island franchise’s aiming mechanics thrown in too. There’s also a co-op mode where you can spit the second Yoshi at enemies for your own benefit. The game didn’t get a solid release date, sadly, but looks like a must-own for anyone who has loved either a Yoshi game or the Epic Yarn game.
