Mortal Kombat X
How does Mortal Kombat X top 2011’s Mortal Kombat? Add in a slew of brand new characters, give each fighter three different variations that all play slightly differently, and add an interactive environment for the first time in the series. The game looks great, runs beautifully, and is shaping up to be even better than the last game. It combines all the stuff we loved about Mortal Kombat 9 with some really clever new twists that look to add even more diversity and complexity to the title. It is always hard to breath new life in a long running series, but that is exactly what this game looks to do and it is one that both hardcore fighting enthusiasts and genre novices should be excited about.
