Bethesda Returns Classic Fallout Games To Steam

The Fallout games were originally available on Steam, but then they weren’t, but hey now they are again! As we previously reported, Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics were all removed from the Steam store last January and from the GOG catalogue last December. While people who had previously purchased the titles on Steam could still have fun, anyone else that wanted to catch up on the roots of the Fallout series was out of luck. A change in the licensing agreement occurred, and the poor Fallout games were left outside in the rain, all alone and cold while Sarah McLachlan sang “In The Arms Of An Angel” behind them. It was all quite sad.

Luckily, Bethesda took over the rights to the Fallout series and promised to return these classic Fallout titles to their home on Steam. And this past Wednesday on their blog, Bethesda announced they did just that. Normally the games sell for $9.99 each or $19.99 all together if you spring for the classic Fallout bundle. However, as you might have heard the Steam Summer Sale is going on right now and Steam has lost its mind and is selling all of its games for rock bottom prices. As such, each game individually is only $4.99 or you can pay $12.99 for the three game bundle. Go and give these classics the loving home they deserve. Don’t make us sic Sarah McLachlan on you.
