Airtight Games, the developers of Murdered: Soul Suspect and Dark Void, have confirmed that they will be closing their doors after ten years in the business.
The company confirmed the closure via a series of tweets from the company:
Thanks to all of the fans, family, friends and colleagues who supported us and made the last 10 years possible.
Thanks to all of the amazing people that worked on Dark Void, Quantum Conundrum, Murdered, Soul Fjord, Pixld and DerpBike.
Their latest game, Murdered: Soul Suspect, launched a month ago. Critical reception for the game was mixed with our own Matt Whittaker calling it an average experience in his review. The NPD Sales report for June isn’t out yet so its hard to judge how well the game fared commercially. It does suck for the employees though, and we hope that they’ll all be able to find work as soon as possible.
