We previously reported that a demo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm would find its way to Xbox Gold members earlier this week and confirmed a whole slew of pre-order bonus costumes that would be making an appearance in the game. Now Bandai Namco has finally confirmed the eventual release date for the game itself, announcing a September 16 release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. This should give players plenty of time to whet their appetite on the demo and give distributors enough time to craft a box big enough to contain the ever expanding title.
Bandai Namco’s release announcement came with some other goodies, including detailing which retailers would be receiving which pre-order bonuses. Best Buy and Future Shop will receive four different summer themed costumes for various characters, Amazon will get samurai armor for Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, while GameStop and EB Games will get a Japanese Mecha-Naruto poster. So basically pre-order from GameStop (PS3 or 360) is what we’re telling you here.
