Destiny Getting Its Own Season Pass Treatment

Thanks to a number of delays, Destiny is now arguably the biggest game this year, and with its release comes additional content. Any and almost every AAA game now has downloadable content planned ahead of time, and Destiny is no different. Bungie has announced their Expansion Pass (not to be confused with an actual expansion pack), featuring two pieces of future content.

This is essentially their Season Pass solution for the upcoming shooter, giving players new story missions, co-op/multiplayer arenas, and various weapons and gear to obtain. The package will be priced at a hefty $34.99, meaning these “expansions” will be sold probably at $19.99 individually, and will be included in each of the Collector’s Editions. Destiny will be available September 9 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
