Next Doom Called ‘Doom,’ No Release Date or Last Gen Platforms Announced

People were surprised when Bethesda announced that the next Doom reveal would be exclusive to QuakeCon 14 attendees, but the company was true to their word, keeping the event contained to physical attendees of the show after cutting away from their livestream. Luckily we were in attendance and are happy to report the news.

While two levels of the game were demoed, no release information was released. It remains a PC/360/PS3 exclusive with no PS4 or Xbox One release teased. The game remains titled simply “Doom” — most likely indicating its final title forgoing the commonly used “Doom 4” moniker
