The Last of Us continues to be one of the best story-driven games ever created. The story, dialogue, and acting blended together to create 2013s highly-acclaimed title. The Last of Us Remastered launches next week, and Sony is celebrating with a special experiment; The Last of Us: One Night Live.
The Last of Us: One Night Live is a theatrical live reading of select scenes from the game. Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, and the rest of the principal cast will reprise their roles with game director Neil Druckmann reprising his directorial role. In addition, Academy Award winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla will be on hand to perform selections from his engrossing score. The performance kicks off July 28 at 7pm in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately, tickets for the event have all been snapped up, but don’t fret as you’ll still be able to watch the performance. Sony will be streaming it on Twitch, YouTube, and the PSN all free of charge. Obviously, there will be spoilers so those who haven’t played the game yet will want to hold off.
The Last of Us Remastered hits PS4 on July 29.
