On Sunday August 10, there’s going to be a special event at participating Six Flags parks. TOMY is holding a competition to see who has what it takes to be a Pokémon trainer. Unfortunately, there’s no battling, cards or anything of the sort. Since TOMY produces Pokémon toys, the contest will revolve around them.
This challenge is open to children ages 8-13 and requires them to dress up in certain Pokémon outfits as fast as possible. Unfortunately, only ten people are allowed to enter the competition. So, even though you or your children fill out a form, they may not be chosen. Prizes for the winners include four season passes for 2015 and TOMY toys valued at over $250.00; not a bad haul.
Participating parks include Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags Great America and Six Flags Over Texas. If you’re already planning on attending and your kids are fans of the show and games then it’s worth a shot to enter. It’s a great deal especially since there are so few entrants. Visit the events section for any of those parks’ websites for times, locations and official rules.
