You know, 2014 was looking good for a little while. We had Batman: Arkham Knight, Mad Max, The Order: 1886, Battlefield: Hardline, Dying Light, and Tom Clancy’s The Division scheduled within the twelve months of 2014, but all of them and many more have been pushed into next year. Well it looks like we can add yet another to the list.
Displayed in Take-Two’s Fiscal Q1 2015 report, the company’s upcoming cooperative based shooter, Evolve, will not be making its originally planned release in two months, but instead will be pushed to February 2015, a month that seems to be a strange substitute for big game delays. Evolve had an incredibly strong showing at E3 this year, even winning our Shooter of the Show award, so it’s unfortunate to lose a potentially amazing game. As much as we want developers to have as much time to get things right, this year is looking very dim.
