The promotion for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call continues with the latest episodic trailer celebrating the legacy of the franchise. Episode 4 highlights the music from Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, and Final Fantasy X.
Final Fantasy VIII is perhaps the most polarizing entry in the series from a purely gameplay standpoint, but you can’t be divided when it comes to its excellent music. Final Fantasy IX was truly the end of an era, for it was the very last game developed under the helm of series’ founder, Hironobu Sakaguchi. Final Fantasy X is right up there with Final Fantasy VII in terms of mainstream popularity, if you can look past that awkward laughing scene that is.
You can check out the latest episode below, and also have a look at the previous episodes. In case you missed it, there is also a Legacy of Music contest held by Square-Enix, as starting today potential participants can submit their entries.
