The official Twitter account of Hotline Miami has announced that the ultra-violent top down shooter will be hitting the PlayStation 4 later this month. In addition to having its original content, players will be able to beat enemies over their heads by shaking the DualShock 4. This could indicate that the release of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong number is imminent, as Dennation Games could be looking to expose new players to the original title before releasing the sequel. This port will bolster an already strong independent games lineup on Sony’s newest console, which recently saw the release of the critically-acclaimed Rogue Legacy. This news should also continue to put pressure on Microsoft to bolster its currently weak, but soon to be fantastic, ID@Xbox program. Here’s the tweet from @HotlineMiami in its original form:
Hotline Miami (the first one) is coming to PlayStation 4 this month and you can beat people to death by shaking the gamepad.
