Final Fantasy Explorers Ultimate Box Coming To Japan This Winter

A limited edition Final Fantasy Explorers package has officially been announced today by Square Enix.  The game is scheduled to be released in Japan on December 18th of this year. The regular game will be available for 5,800 yen, with the downloadable version retailing for slightly lower at 4,500 yen.  The Ultimate Box will set the biggest of Final Fantasy fans back with a hefty fee of 14,040 yen (nearly $140!).

The Final Fantasy Explorers ~Ultimate Box~ will include an original Nintendo 3DS LL cover, a soundtrack for the game, an art book, a multi-use carrying pouch, and a downloadable code for players to obtain an additional quest involving the “onion knight” from Final Fantasy III.  As usual with Japanese special releases, there has been no announcement for the box set to come overseas.  The Ultimate Box set will be available only to customers who make a reservation through Square Enix’s e-Store.
