Voice Talent Announced For Bethesda and Mikami’s “The Evil Within”

There’s no shortage of good news when it comes to the upcoming survival-horror game, “The Evil Within.” Leave that Shinji Mikami was one of the creative heads behind the original Devil May Cry and Resident Evils (up through and including RE4) and that he worked on Suda51 creations Shadows of the Damned and Killer7. Today, a number of talented voice actors were announced for his newest nightmare-inducing game.

The game’s main antagonist, reality- and perception-altering Ruvik, will be voiced by Academy Award nominee Jackie Earle Haley, who was Freddy Krueger in the recent remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” “Hell on Wheels'” Cullen Bohannon is cast opposite him as the protagonist, the stoic and surprisingly indifferent Sebastian Castellanos.

Alongside Cullen will be Jennifer Carpenter, playing Sebastian’s Junior Detective accomplice. She is best known for her role as Debra Morgan in Showtime’s “Dexter.”

“The Evil Within” drops in North America on October 14th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
