Rockstar Fires Back At Lindsay Lohan’s Grand Theft Auto V Lawsuit

The on-going lawsuit between Rockstar Games and Lindsay Lohan continues. Ms. Lohan filed suit against the Grand Theft Auto V developer over the in-game character Lacey Jonas. She claims that Jonas is an “unequivocal” reference to her and that the developer should pay her for using her likeness.

Well Rockstar has hit back at Ms. Lohan. According to AP, Rockstar has stated the suit to be frivolous and that Ms. Lohan only filed for publicity purposes. They also contend that the similarities between Lohan and Jonas is that both are females with blonde hair. Rockstar wants the suit dismissed and for Lindsay to pay for all legal fees.

The ‘Mean Girls’ and ‘Freaky Friday’ actress shot to fame in her childhood after starring in ‘The Parent Trap’. She enjoyed several years of success, until she went off the deep end. Today she’s more well known for her multiple court appearances, rehab visits, and alcohol-induced trouble-making. Whether Ms. Lohan has a case remains to be seen, but she’s a well-known attention seeker giving Rockstar plenty of ammunition in its fight to get the case dismissed.
