Nintendo has announced that Platinum Games’ crazy action title will release exclusively on Wii U on October 24.
Fans have been clamoring for a Bayonetta sequel for a long time, and the wait is almost over. Taking place a few months after the first game, Bayonetta 2 sees everyone’s favorite scantily-clad witch descend into the depths of Hell to rescue her friend Jeanne.
Bayonetta 2 was announced back in 2012 as a Wii U exclusive, something that ruffled many PlayStation and Xbox fans feathers. Platinum Games explained that it was because of Nintendo’s financial backing that the Bayonetta sequel ever happened. To sweeten the deal for Wii U players, Platinum Games is including the original Bayonetta on the disk free of charge.
We recently got to go hands-on with Bayonetta 2 at E3 a couple of months ago, so be sure to read why we think it may be the best Wii U game released this fall.
