Hexcells by Matthew Brown has quickly become a series that puzzle game enthusiasts should be aware of. The inspiration seems to come from Minesweeper although good players can solve these games purely by logic.
In case you haven’t been keeping track, Hexcells Infinite is the 3rd in the series so far. This version includes 36 new puzzles to take on along with a random puzzle generator. Using the puzzle generator requires a “seed” word. In this way, friends can challenge each other to the same generated puzzle. Players can also save in the middle of a stage if they like.
Those who have yet to pick up any Hexcells game would probably do best to get Hexcells Infinite thanks to the new features. It’s available on Steam for $4.99. Or, the complete pack can be purchased for $8.99.
