Weekly PlayStation Store Update Goes Live – Velocity 2X Free For Plus Members

This week’s PlayStation Store update is a big one thanks to a day-one freebie for Vita and PS4 owners. Our own Matt Whittaker has been singing the praises of Velocity 2X for months, and now everyone with either a PlayStation 4 or Vita, and a PlayStation Plus membership can experience the game for free. If you’ve got Vita or PS3, then PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is free too, and well-worth your time. Vita owners can also get Joe Danger free starting today, so free up some space on your Vita cards and get downloading! PS3 and Vita owners can start playing Deathmatch Village, a new free-to-play offering, so there’s a ton of gaming content available right now at no cost. If you want to spend money on games, then you can get Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate on the PS3, PS4, and Vita while PS3 owners can get the Epic Adventures Bundle for $29, or get Mega Man X4 as a PS1 classic for $5.99. Don’t Starve hits the Vita for $14.99, while Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is available for $39.99, and Mahjong Gold is $4.99. Sale-wise, there are some big deails afoot for both free and PS+ users. For simplicity’s sake, we’ll be going with the Plus prices here.
