The last-gen systems have had Minecraft for a while now, with Xbox 360 owners having the most time to enjoy the world-crafting game. Starting tomorrow, September 4, owners of the current-gen systems will be able to make their own in-game worlds. Saves on either the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 can be carried over to their succeeding system, and upgrading from last-gen to current-gen will only set you back $5. This means that if you’ve already got the game, you’re good to go. This goes for either physical or disc versions, so it’s an excellent value for owners of the newer consoles. The PlayStation Blog has a detailed post about how to go about the low-cost upgrade.
