Forza Horizon 2 Goes Gold, Receives Demo and Digital Pre-Orders

One of the most highly anticipated arcade racers has now gone gold. Turn 10 Studios has published a Vine video, seen directly below, expressing their excitement over finally completing the September 30 scheduled game.

To help celebrate, the demo for Forza Horizon 2 is also now available on the Xbox Store, giving everyone just a taste of the now truly open world Playground Studios and Turn 10 Games have created. Unfortunately, Xbox Ones users who have low bandwidth caps will be unhappy to know that the demo is roughly one third the size of the full game. That’s a whopping 10GB file and may take some hours to even download.

Additionally, digital pre-orders for the Day One version of Forza Horizon 2 are now available on the Xbox Store. It’s not just the base game that can be purchased, but bundles that tack on an additional $20 and $40. It’s not without cause as the Deluxe Edition and Ultimate versions will come additional content that will have purchasers immersed for months to come:
