Super Smash Bros. is synonymous with fun. It’s also synonymous with broken friendships, controllers, and coffee tables. It’s no surprise, then, that — with a healthy assortment of popular characters, tight controls and the type of ‘easy to play, hard to master’ mechanics you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere — Nintendo’s character brawler is selling like fresh yakisoba.
According to a post on Nintendo Japan’s official website, the game has sold a million copies since launch — a mere 3 days ago. The company doesn’t expect sales to dwindle, either. Nintendo is continuing to ship units as stores struggle to keep them in stock.
