North American audiences do not have much longer to wait before they can get their hands on Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, as the game will be hitting store shelves September 30, 2014. Atlus had previously been coy with the European release date for the title, with “sometime” about as definitive as they were willing to get.
Fortunately, the company confirmed that the title would indeed be getting a European release this November, and that the game will be available in both digital download and retail form.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is the sequel to Persona 4 Arena and features a brand new story and new characters to fight as. Each character will have their own unique story mode delineating their involvement in the fighting tournament, and some fighters will have a Shadow type which will give them a completely different fighting style.
