In just over a day from now, the final installment in the Dark Souls II Lost Crown Trilogy was expected to hit, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. Bandai Namco has delayed the expansion pack by a week, now publishing the $10 piece of DLC (or $24.99 if you bought the season pass) on September 30 for PC and Xbox 360, and a day later for PS3.
The reason behind the sudden delay was not given, but so long as it comes out and is fully functional, then an extra week is nothing in the grand scheme of things. The big difference in Crown of the Ivory King is that it now takes place in a cold tundra, hopefully breathing some new found life into the Dark Souls universe.
