Gorgeous indie platformer Chariot has finally been given a release date, after its reveal at this year’s E3 in June. The game launches on PlayStation 4 on September 30, and on Xbox One October 1, with Wii U and Steam arrivals yet to be tacked down.
A local co-op platformer, Chariot sends you and a partner on a perilous journey to find a suitable resting place for your regal father’s coffin. He’s a picky old git though, so not just anywhere will do. As the princess and her fiance, you’ll pull the chariot through beautiful and treacherous landscapes, solving various physics-based platforming puzzles along the way. You can of course tackle the task alone, although the game promises a greater challenge to those without a friend.
