Yesterday, Sony announced that a whopping 700 games would be available day one for PlayStation TV. Staying true to their word, the company published the full list of games you’ll be able to play when you pick up your shiny, new PlayStation TV.
Upon release, PlayStation TV will support four different types of PlayStation games:
- PS Vita – Almost all PS Vita games will be playable on the PlayStation TV. Those that rely too heavily on the handheld’s motion and touch controls will not be playable. Playable games include God of War Collection, Killzone: Mercenary, The LEGO Movie Videogame, and Borderlands 2 among many others.
- PlayStation and PSP Classics – Nearly the entire PlayStation Classics and digital PSP library are available for PlayStation TV. If you’ve already purchased a game digitally through your PSN account then you can download it again for PlayStation TV.
- PS3 via PS Now – Your PS Now subscription will allow you to stream available PS3 games to your PlayStation TV.
- PS4 via Remote Play – If you have a PS4 then you can make use of the Remote Play feature to stream a PS4 game to the TV where your PlayStation TV is set up.
PlayStation TV is available on October 14 for $99 as a standalone product, or $139.99 for a bundle containing an 8GB memory card, a Dualshock 3 controller, and a copy of The LEGO Movie Videogame.
