It’s no secret that North America got the shaft this year for the Club Nintendo Platinum Rewards, receiving nothing physical and only a pre-existing, older downloadable game. This year’s Platinum Rewards have just been announced for Japan and Nintendo of Japan is following suit by shifting the rewards to a less-physical form, although still keeping them exclusive.
Those who reached the Platinum level in Japan will receive a special Club Nintendo-only version of the addictive Picross for 3DS, featuring over a 100 new puzzles. They’ll additionally get a physical cardboard calendar that those who reached Gold will also secure.
Not the best rewards they’ve ever offered, but still better than what we got out west. Head over here to check both out.
