Ghost Blade Announced For Dreamcast Release

Hucast Games announced today that their game, Ghost Blade, will be coming to the Dreamcast. Sega’s final system has been a hotbed for shoot-em-up action since its demise in 2001, thanks in part to some dedicated developers.

There are five stages to play through in the basic mode, as well as a caravan mode in which you can limit yourself to two or five minutes of play, and a time attack mode as well. Three versions of the game can be pre-ordered now, including a regular edition, an LE, and a 3-disc collector’s edition. The regular edition gets you a premium case, a disc, and manual. The limited edition has that, but with a different cover, and a soundtrack. The three disc version is limited to 500 copies, so it’s a true LE, and you’ll get the game, the soundtrack, and a Superplay DVD alongside a 24 page art book.

An exact release date wasn’t announced, but it will be coming out in 2015.
