Borderlands Remastered Edition Outed by the Australian Classification Board

A remastered version of Borderlands is most likely a thing, and will probably come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Borderlands Remastered Edition was outed by the Australian Classification Board, who have given it an MA 15+ rating.

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of 2K Games, filed for classification on December 11, 2014, which was yesterday. Neither 2K Games, Take-Two Interactive, or the Australian Classification Board have released comments announcing Borderlands Remastered Edition, or denying its existence. This is a rumor for now, but the Australian Classification Board has a habit of outing games, so there’s a strong likelihood this is real.

We’re going to guess the game will at least be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The original Borderlands launched on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC launched in 2009 and was a huge hit. The game has been extremely influential in the Co-Op space, and has spawned two additional games, a PS Vita port of the second game, and a Telltale Game Series. We’ll let you know should 2K Games or Take-Two Interactive make any comments regarding Borderlands Remastered Edition.
