Rumored for quite some time now, Capcom and Ninja Theory have officially confirmed today that DmC Devil May Cry will be coming to current generation platforms. Titled DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, this upgraded version will come packed with a rebalanced combat system, new cinematics, Vergil’s Bloody Palace DLC, new difficulties (Hardcore Mode, Must Style Mode and Gods Must Die Mode), and even a Turbo Mode that increases gameplay speed by 20%.
Of course, the Definitive Edition will run at 1080p 60fps, and considering DmC uses Unreal Engine 3, it shouldn’t be too difficult to hit those marks. DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will be available March 17 for both PS4 and Xbox One at the low price of $39.99.
Additionally, 2008’s Devil May Cry 4 will also be receiving its own Special Edition treatment. Unfortunately, no further information has been shared other than it will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One sometime in summer of 2015.
