Divinity: Original Sin Gets Retail Release

Divinity: Original Sin has come a long way from its modest Kickstarter beginnings. While it once struggled to reach its development funding goal, it has since succeeded on such a grand scale that it just nabbed itself a retail release.

The game will be available at retailers such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and GameStop and will include the Source Hunter DLC for $39.99. This is an excellent deal for one of the best games of the past year, so if you’ve been holding out for some weird reason this is a great time to snatch it up. Or maybe just wait for the upcoming Steam sale — it is basically guaranteed to be available for a nickel and a smile at that point.

To celebrate this achievement, Larian Studios put together a trailer showing off all the work they put in the past year. Check it out below.
