Spencer on Pachter: ‘He Doesn’t Know’ Xbox One’s 2015 Lineup

Michael Pachter made some choice remarks about Xbox One’s 2015 game lineup, and Phil Spencer isn’t have any of it.

Pachter participated in Gametrailers’ Bonus Round show where he sounded off on PS4’s 2015 game lineup vs. Xbox One’s. He surmised that the combination of The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Street Fighter V, and a large number of exclusive Indie titles would win the year for Sony.

“I think it’s the quantity of quality games. Normally, you expect kind of one game in the Spring, one or two in the Fall, but what do you have, six big titles, it’s probably doubled.

“I don’t know what Microsoft has planned but I will be willing to bet that it’s not this many. I am surprised because I really thought that manufacturers won’t take the risk of developing for one console and they are taking it.”

This generalization has not sat well with Xbox Head Phil Spencer who shot back on Twitter that Pachter is correct, he doesn’t know anything about Xbox One’s 2015 game lineup.

Current 2015 Xbox One exclusives include Fable Legends, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, and Halo 5: Guardians. Expect to hear some more exclusive announcements from both Sony and Microsoft at E3 2015.
