Unlike the League of Legends tournament, Smite’s World Championship utilized crowd-sourcing, donating portions of proceeds from in-game items towards the prize pool. Smite’s World Championship will be held in Atlanta from January 9 to 11 of next year.
Smite is developed by Hi-Rez Studios and available for PC and soon to be released on Xbox One.
