UK Charts: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Kicks off 2015 at the Top

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the first number 1 title in the UK for 2015. Grand Theft Auto V and FIFA 15 remained behind Activision’s behemoth shooter in an almost barren week for new releases.

Most likely due to the end of the holiday season, all major titles saw a sharp sales decline from the previous week. Advanced Warfare dropped 51%, 48% for Grand Theft Auto V, and 51% for FIFA 15. Far Cry 4 managed to recapture the fourth place spot from Assassin’s Creed Unity.┬áThere was one very┬árecent release on the charts, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Nintendo’s charming “platformer” didn’t do too well though, making its debut in sixteenth place.
