Finalized Steam Controller Announcements to be Revealed at GDC, says Origin PC CEO

Expect to see details on the finalized version of the elusive Steam Controller at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

In an interview with Gamespot at CES, Origin PC’s CEO Kevin Wasielewski revealed that Steam’s controller would be shown off at this March’s GDC.

“[T]heir controller is finalized. So now they’re going to production and at GDC is when they’re going to announce more stuff,” Wasielewski said.

The Steam Controller was revealed back in 2013 and featured two touchpads and haptic feedback, and after over a year of iterations, we’re finally going to get an official look at what Valve thinks will revolutionize the world of PC controllers.  A picture of the finalized Steam Controller was supposedly leaked in December of 2014, which is pictured above.
