Sekai Project has been doing incredibly well getting its multiple visual novel localizations crowdfunded. Back in November they launched a campaign for the classic game Clannad with a surprisingly long two month Kickstarter campaign.
Over the past 60 days visual novel fans have proven just how much they want to play an English version. Despite the high goal of $140,000 backers quickly reached it, moving onto a handful of stretch goals. Clannad’s Kickstarter finally ended today with a total of $541,161 pledged.
This is publisher Sekai Project’s most successful campaign to date and with good reason. Clannad will be fully voiced and available via Steam this October.
