Sony Offering One-Time 10% Off Code for PS Store This Weekend

After PlayStation Network and Xbox Live were attacked and brought offline by Lizard Squad late last month, Sony announced that it would be offering PSN players five days of PlayStation Plus and a 10% discount code to use in the PS Store, but without a firm date of when that code would be available. Today Sony stated that players will be able to use the code this weekend.

The code will be available through the PS Store or from the PlayStation Twitter account and must be used “from 9:00 AM 1/23 PST through 9:00 AM PST 1/26.” You can’t use the code on anything in the PS Store though; exclusions on the deal include “subscriptions for PS Plus, Music Unlimited, PS Now and rental video content.” And here I was about to finally bite the bullet on signing up for Music Unlimited. Ah, well. Maybe next time.

This is practically useless imo, since there was just a huge sale last week (20th anniversary).

I think they should’ve done this before that sale or atleast a month after.

It’d be nice if at least lasted longer than a single weekend.
