Coming in at slightly under two minutes Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II’s opening sticks to the usual trend. It’s to the tune of a catchy J-pop song and shows off scantily clad anime girls.
The game itself, however, isn’t going to the beat of its usual drum. With the introduction of a new battle system and a different combo structure Hyperdimension is switching things up just a bit. Positioning of characters will be more important and each goddess character will have a “Next Form” as an additional transformation to their already existing goddess transformation. The new forms will cause changes to combat and personality.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II is scheduled to release in Japan on April 23 for PlayStation 4. There hasn’t been news of the game making its way to North America as of yet.
