While Xbox’s Games with Gold program has had its ups and downs over the last little bit, March 2015 is looking like its best month yet. Not only will Microsoft be offering its first retail release for Xbox One, but each of the three games are top tier products — all of which were runner-ups for Hardcore Gamer’s 2013 Game of the Year award.
For Xbox One, Gold members will receive the absolutely beautiful and partially rhythmic Rayman Legends to add to their collection. Even though this was a port from its last generation release, it was still arguably the best Ubisoft game last year. Xbox 360 owners won’t have anything to complain about, either, as starting on March 1, Crystal Dynamic’s 2013 release of Tomb Raider will be made available at no additional cost. Closing off the selection halfway through the month, Irrational Games’ Bioshock Infinite will be swapping places with Tomb Raider.
This is easily one of the best months for Xbox owners, hopefully a standard that will carry forward into the future.
