If there’s one game that old school fans should get excited for, it’s Rainbow Six Siege. It’s a game that goes back to the series’ roots in creating well planned out scenarios where things could go wrong in an instant. Granted, Rainbow Six Vegas was a fantastic series, combining the strategic gameplay we’ve come to love in a more traditional shooter formula, but this is what long running fans have been looking for, especially in an age where multiplayer-only games are becoming more and more common.
While the game was playable back at E3 last year, Ubisoft has announced today that there will be a closed alpha available for those who register, or at least picked from the registry. Only those who have a Uplay account will be available to sign-up. Rainbow Six Siege will be available at an unknown date for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
