Imagine building something and watching it come to life on your TV. Now, imagine that something you built becoming flexibly playable, customizable and completely interactive. Got it? Good. Now, imagine all of that with the endless licensing potential of the LEGO brand and the talented team behind the last 10 thousand LEGO games.
I know what you’re thinking: freaking incredible. Yeah, our thoughts exactly.
There’s a rumor floating around that TT Games is spearheading a title (LEGO Dimensions) to compete with toys-to-life honchos, Skylanders, Disney Infinity and newcomer Nintendo Amiibo. Sadly, no concrete information has been provided by the company, although a Videogamer report suggests they’re always looking to “push boundaries;” perhaps the studios’ nonchalant admission?
Although there’s little to ride on outside of industry chatter, the company’s Tim Wileman dropped an “I can’t go into any specific details now” when replying to Videogamer’s inquiries, which suggests there indeed exists something that he can’t get into specifics about. Oh, the suspense!
Stay tuned for more information as the story develops.
